View Full Version : Boot camp?

After reading a few comments and advice people have gave me from my 'sleeping problems' thread it seems I'm not living exactly the worlds healthiest lifestyle.

My sisters currently joined a boot camp which is every Wednesday and it's a workout for a certain amount of time.
I'm thinking about joining one, has anybody else been? (I want to know what I'm letting myself in for and if it's good motivation)

Thanks :)

Are these the ones where you pay an ex army guy £50 to come to the park and shout at you?

She has a phone, and never uses it lol!
I hardly see her either.

I'd do it.

Otherwise you could be one of those girls who gets into their late 20s and everyone talks about how attractive they used to be until they let themselves go and now resemble jab a the hut (and not the young episode 1 version, the episode 3 huge version)

To be honest I'm not bothered about my figure meaning I'm not like OH IM FAT because I know fair well I need to put the weight on I'm less than 7 stone due to high metabolism and I've been to the doctors and they say I need a healthier lifestyle. So it's what I'm going to do :)

Im not doing it for my shape I'm doing it for motivation and have better sleeping patterns.

Funnily enough exercise can also help you put on weight.

Muscle weighs more than fat.

And yes, proper exercise will let you sleep better.

If I put on weight then so be it :)
I may look in to joining one then I'm trying to convince my mum to come with me and do it but she says 'it will kill her'

Just hope it's not too expensive after all 2.60 an hour job is not exactly stable.

Weight not bulk, it's a good thing. At 7stone I'd almost guarantee you'll put on a bit.

Whatever happened to minimum wage? My Saturday job used to pay more than that in the 1990's

I'm a trainee, that's why I'm on so little but I work full time if you get me.
I'm not complaining though because it gives me experience on my CV.

And well I'll be bulky then :D better than E.T I guess lmao.
