Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
Myself and 3 mates are off to the TT next year. I would like some advice on camping sites. We would like good showers, access to the inside of the circuit, access to a bit of night life, shops, charging points (phones etc) and pubs.

Just really wondering if anyone's had good/bad experiences with camp sites or have any recommendations?
Anything to watch out for?

Cheers
Si

id recommend St Georges football club on glencutcherty road ot ttcamping round the back of there near shoprite,

your 5 min walk from the grandstand and pits and you can walk to town for beer, big supermarket near by, both have reasonable price on site beer and food, good showers and places to sit in the dry and both are well behaved sites with decent bike parking.

you can get around the course easy enough from there too, if you know your way round during closed roads

try the Peel campsite, it's a bit away from the circuit, but nothing on the island is that far, got electric and decent showers, right next door to the public swinning pool which as a cafe in it and opens early for that first morning brew (well did when I was there), big supermarket 200 yds away and the rest of the town (pubs and food) only a short walk away, was cheap to.

Cheers Mark.

I've used Peel for the last 3 years for the Southern 100 & I would agree with Mark, it's very reasonable & not far from Glen Helen, Kirkmichael etc. The Island is tiny anyway, so, again as Mark says, your not too far from anywhere :)
