Apologies if in wrong section.
I am posting this as a warning to others.

I am after new tyres and was going down the route of buying a 120/70/R17 front as they were in stock whereas the 120/60 were not.

I checked on the org first to make sure they'd be suitable but also read check with insurance if they need notifying. As i was informing them of my exhaust I asked the question and the answer was they would not cover me!

I'm going to order in the OEM size of BT023's now. Has anyone else actually checked and have i effed up by mentioning it to them as it's something they probably would never even check? ](*,)

I'm about to go with eBike insurance, saw them recommended on here and when I applied online, there was a mahoosive list of mods you could add to your policy and it was still over £100 cheaper than my renewal with Carole Nash.

I appreciate it doesn't help right now, however something to consider at renewal.

Ring them in a couple of days and say you had a puncture and had to have the tyre quickly replaced. They did that to me when I asked the question.

Declared it on the renewal and have been fine with it

That would be me :)
Yeah ebike were head scratchingly relaxed about it all.
I basically ticked every box and they thought nothing of it.
