Hi all. Just passed my mod 1 and taking mod 2 this week, so will be on the lookout for an SV650 this weekend (fingers crossed).

Welcome and congrats libenegg. As Daddyjob said, your nearest massive is the guildford massive. There are four of us in Basingstoke (I'm in Tadley), Spank down the M3 in Eastleigh, another lady in Winchester, another one further south, a few lads in Aldershot, and we're all riding alllll the time, and all a good friendly bunch.

In fact, I would go as far as to say we are the nicest, funniest and best looking on the whole of the forum (perhaps in the whole world), so you're in safe hands when you fancy your first ride out. ;)

we always did used to go to loomies on a wed night or on a Saturday or Sunday, for about 2 years and ride the meon,southdowns, plaines and the dorset hills ect...... then we all stopped :confused:

Thanks spank :). I have to get my butt into gear to do this because I'll say I'll do it for the next 10 years. I enjoy being on the back of si's bike when he's riding but I guess it's different when it's you in control

Although that was more to do with extreme parental disapproval and funding issues. After I blew the first bike up they really weren't keen on me continuing.

The cbt is pretty cheap considering what it is, you'd pay more if you did it as an 'experience day' like with sports cars.

How did you blow up your bike? I have motocross day thing on Doncaster end of August and I hope it will give me some idea of what it's like to control a bike.

Fairplay will have to let us know what it was like and how you get on. I would be keen on trying that.

The CBT is the best way to see how you get on with it. Its very easy once you get the balance. Its the best thing you can do with all your clothes on lol
