I stripped the head on one of the bolts, just about to go extract it but was wondering ...
Are the bolts special in any way? coated and what not?
Could i use a similar eg. high grade steel bolt of the same length?

I would change all or stick with OE, I'd be happy with a moderately high tensile (8.8) bolt in that application but I wouldn't use a different one in one place as it should be balanced

oh yea id replace all 6 but wasnt sure if there was anything special about them with their low strength and ability to snap if you look at them wrong. thanks y/c
