haven't rode with anyone but my mate with a 6r so think we need to organise a big ride for anyone down south or who would travel down south, maybe southampton down to cornwall for some lunch and then back up on the A roads through yeovil

Runako, you don't say. Check out my Bodmin Thread. Right in the Heart of the West country and not far from the South yet no one, except Grant, has shown an interest. Us from the 'Guildford' section are travelling circa 200 miles to get there.

Grant, i was down that way yesterday. Used all A roads across from Salisbury to blandford forum, across to Dorchester, Yeovil and so on and ended up in Exeter. Did a good 450 miles over the 11 hours i was out. Only 50 miles of which were dual carriage way/motorway on the way home

That's how i ride. Make each ride different, a learning experience and fun! I've ridden for so long i know most the 'local' roads well. Need new roads and challenges every now and again! After i've conquered the SW i'll be heading North :)
