I had my bike MOT'ed recently and there's a note on the service receipt that the head race bearings will need replacing before the next service, any idea what this should cost to do? The garage are quoting around £150, is this a fair price?

a set of head bearings can be had for about £30-35, an hours work, but then you need the tools and know how, like all things in life if you don't know you pay, I guess they budgeted 2 hours work (probably the YTS guy doing it....do they have YTS anymore ?), so in their world yeah about right.

Cheers Mark.
