that's had some pennies spent on it!

When I was on my apprenticeship there was a young lad who spent 40k on an h reg escort cabriolet! madness

My favourite bit is the rotten engine bay with radioactive hoses. It screams quality.

Did Scoobies of that vintage really look like they'd had the back of a BMW welded to it? The first pic made me think he was describing the wrong car, especially when I also noted the colour in the listing...

I'm guessing he got a job lot of blue silicone hose from somewhere. If someone gave it to me I'd thrash it 'til it squealed, but I wouldn't pay money for it.

That is appalling. And why would you want the back of your car to look like a beemer and the front like an Audi? That has to be one of the chaviest cars I have ever seen.

old subaru's aint worth that much, and with that milage!, and about 15mpg on super unleaded, and a grand for 4 tyre's who's going to be able to afford to run a 19 year old car,and o yer if anyone has had to live with one of these with perminent 4 wheel drive then they will know they dont drive/handle very well on twisty back roads, much like driving a landrover defender

Its not to dissimilar to people who put GSXR fairings on a SV650, or RC211V replicas on a NSR250, or RC8 fairings on a... Well you get the idea.

I lived with one for 3 years - it was nothing like a defender.

Are you on drugs?

Are you on drugs?no,the now x has had a wrx sti from almost new(21k's worth) and like all permanent 4 wheel drive cars and pickups ive driven(and that includes all but the newer defenders and disco's) have found that on the road the handling was a compromise compared to a front wheel drive car especially on the twisty b roads, and compared to say a bmw135i which sticks to the road like sh*t on almost identical bridgestone tyres and have always found that 4 wheel drive under normal road use was unnecessary and didnt actually make it go round corners any better, and if anything with the front and rear pushing and pulling each other made fast cornering less safe rather than safer,no doubt and im guessing here, the more modern 4 wheel drive from the likes of audi/vw have overcome these issues with better and more modern diff's
