Equally, surely the sports bike rider shouldn't do the manoeuvre if Harley rider wasn't aware? Overtaking someone who isn't paying attention is asking for them to get a fright and do something stupid.?

I'm surprised there was a big enough gap in-between the two ghey, they're usually sniffing each others ring pieces.

Gahhh. After pooing my pants, I would be properly ****ed off! Would try and get his license plate. At the next gas station, where he will be filling his empty tank, place a small nuclear device under the seat. Either that or have harsh words.

I would have thought that, If you're riding slowly along, and you see, in your mirrors, a very fast bike approaching that the last thing you want to be doing is changing your line. But what the f-ck do I know? At least the video's got "Harley" in the title so that gives the sad c-nts on internet forums another chance to take the p!ss.

I think that maybe the "ghey" bloke on the left hand Harley was fiddling with his heated grip controls and the other one had spotted a plank in the undergrowth that he could make into a cello.

Sportsbike doesnt look to be going much faster than the car they're overtaken by.
Silly slow crusers, whats the point in having a bike that has none of the positives of biking but all of the negatives of driving? MUGS!

What is the problem? Looks fine to me.

Mind you, I have had a trundle bike that can only go slowly. :D

Live and let live! Not everyone gets their kicks going stupidly fast. Some just enjoy riding for riding's sake.

Speed and manoeuvring ability are the two biggest perks of having a bike (excluding economic benefits).
Cruisers have neither of these traits, a cruiser is no more a motorbike than a scooter is. Nothing against those who own or run one but I just think they've aimed and missed, not missed as badly as cyclists but thats another story.

Hog riders are a different train of thought to the power rangers crew.
They didn't interfere with each other at the end of the day.

Completely disagree. I get tons of enjoyment doing 70mph. Ok maybe 90 on occasion. I have absolutely no yearning to go any faster. Just me.
Some people are satisfied with one square of chocolate - some need to eat the entire bar. Different strokes for different folks.
It's not about the speed. It's the feeling of forward motion. For the same reason I love cycling, driving, swings, skating and being on a train (oh and roller coasters!)

You're entitled to disagree, wouldn't it be a ****ty boring world if we all liked the same things and acted the same way? Sitting on a bike with my arms up like I'm hanging out the washing just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I'm merely voicing my opinion, not criticising yours :)

No problem at all, and I'll happily answer the question but if I may ask first of you and agy to tell me what you think I ride. - Just a bit of fun, its not a shnide thing.

Each to their own, don't get people slagging off Harley owners. For me the enjoyment is sometimes going fast, but the thrill of doing corners skilfully, and putting them all together, and feeling total satisfaction beats blasting away feeling at the edge of my limits. You can't do that on the roads here, never knowing what's round t he corner, or who's gonna see it as an invite to race. I love biking, who is to say my enjoyment is any less because I don't choose to blast everywhere?

It always raises my hackles when people slag off other peoples bikes and makes me wonder if they're happy with theirs. I also find a lot of Harley owners have maybe had accidents on sports bikes, and have purposefully bought a Harley so they take it easier, and there's nothing wrong with that in fact it's to be applauded.

Hmmm I supose I did say "silly slow cruisers" but that was aimed at the 2 in this vid as opposed to a general dig at cruisers. And I think its fair to say they were going slow as they were easily overtaken by that car which didn't seem to be driving particularly fast.

I think you're sort of twisting or maybe misinterpreting my words. I said "silly slow cruisers," and "what's the point of having a bike that doesn't allow the benefits of biking"
I never said "going slow is pointless" I never said "going fast is essential" you're the one who took it that route.

It may be that this isnt aimed at me but in case it is I will point out, I never mentioned Harleys, my statements are towards Crusiers - Yes that includes Harleys but it doesn't single them out.
Again I also never said the tarmac ribon is a racetrack, I've not seen anyone on here say "your is to say my enjoyment is any less because you don't choose to blast everywhere" I've only seen those who are defending riding slowly.
I've said I don't see the point in having a bike which is NOT fast or nimble, that does not translate as you MUST permanently ride at WOT under and overtaking as you go.

So to get to the answer of this question:
I reckon you have an old, beaten up scooter... ;D
You're not far off lol, I ride a Drz400
http://www.asphoon.com/wp-content/uploads/newbikes/DRZ%20400%20SM.jpg

The irony of the accusations of me implying that speed is essential should now be apparent.
For example:
I get tons of enjoyment doing 70mph. Ok maybe 90 on occasion. I have absolutely no yearning to go any faster.

70mph on the drz is pretty much the top comfortable speed, 90mph well with accurate clocks 90mph doesn't happen EVER.

...and have purposefully bought a Harley so they take it easier, and there's nothing wrong with that in fact it's to be applauded.
I'll take that as a compliment.
I sold my pointy SV and bought the drz after deciding I couldn't trust myself to ride the SV responsibly. Im not ashamed to say I took it out for a ride with a few members on here and get held up by a horse box on country lanes. Once I'd made the overtake I opened it up - the roads were clear for miles (in my direction). After a period of playing catch up I thought I'd broken the bike, it didn't seem to have any power to pull away - looked down and saw 137 on the pointy clocks. I know folk on here will be happy with those speeds but I didn't like it, I didn't like that it felt comfortable. I knew then I had to sell it or I'd soon be loosing my life/licence.

So I bought the slower DRZ, although it wont top a ton, its about as nimble as they come and 0-50 happens in a blink.

Especially if you like light small capacity soft suspension bikes, right? (EDIT: ahh, just saw you posted about the DRZ after I posted!!!)

But this isn't true for all bikes, which makes the statement more 'I like bikes that are quick and manouverable'. That's just 1 mind set, maybe a popular one but not the only one.

I liked my HD sat at 60mph, feeling comfy and pillion not moving the bike at all, still being open to the elements and liking the sound and feel when I twisted thr throttle. However, I personally missed the speed and manouverability and got a CBR-F, but I totally get there's more to life than a light flippy bike.

I liked the L2 GSXR600 I rode at Silverstone, but I wouldn't buy one for the road again. I would like a YZ125 though!

i like his/her style :-)

the most organised rideout i have ever seen taking place was the Harley owners club in scotland. it was done in groups of 10 riders each with their own leader at 10min gap to the next group. me being me quizzed the organiser and he explained it all and you know what everything he said made perfect sense.
