DSA union are currently striking - usual golden pension tripe, my examiner was with the union..so test cancelled. Lovely, spent all morning crapping myself and wasting time when i could of been packing stuff up for moving house. They told me at 13:45 by email, my test was at 14:05. Good job i get emails on my phone, at least my instructor hasnt charged me for the second hour i ran over into.

They've rebooked me for in a months time, so thats four more lesson i have to now pay for. Bah humbug!

That sucks :(
I'm already nervous about mine. Just the manoeuvre and not knowing which they will choose.

I used 'kalms' and i seemed to of been less nervous today than i was for my theory (which i'd already done successfully twice, once for the bike test and once for the car that had expired).

I had them for 3 days running up, just two in a morning, first day to see if i had any adverse reaction to them. second day to double check they didn't affect me, and then today for the test (2 each time).

Manoeuvre is the thing i'm most likely to mess up, on my first lesson my instructor commented on my road awareness etc. Would of been 18 lessons to test, now 22 (provided i don't fail of course).

Thanks. You too :)

I'm the same. Quite capable of driving but the bays in the test centre are practically the width of a car do you have to get it spot on. As long as I don't get parking in a bay I should be ok as I seem to be fine with everything else.
Strangely enough I find reversing round a corner the easiest to do.

My instructor always comments on my quick reactions. I told him its built in when you are a biker as everyone is out to kill you!

Keep looking on DSA website for an earlier test.
You might get lucky. They hold test dates back then put them on.
Mine wasn't till the end of August but I managed to get an earlier one.

Good luck with the rebooked one. Sucks getting striked though, don't let it get you down
