I have just changed the battery on my Sv and all was fine, have been out on her and then left her in trickle charge in the garage.
I have just tried to start her but I can't turn the alarm off with the fob. I have even used spare fob, nothing. The light on fob works so its not battery. . Any ideas ?
you will have to reset the alarm as it has gone into sleep mode.
turn the key on the bike as if you were going to start the Bike, the alarm will sound then click the disarm button on the FOB. :0)

Had a similar prob earlier this week. Although the red light lit on the fob, the fob battery wasn't powerful enough to turn the alrm off. Once I changed the battery I then had to press the circle and triangle buttons on the fob similtaneously to reset the alarm. Then all was OK.
Might work for you?

I've had to do this before in rare circumstances if changing fob batteries or the override pin code doesn't work, you'll need to de-spike the unit, the black alarm module has four security torques screws, remove these and the lid will come off (careful as the lid contains the siren and wires lead to the PCB (circuit board), depending on which version you have the battery on the PCB will either unclip or need to be de-soldered, remove this, there is also a main loom plug which needs to be dis-connected, leave them all dis-connected over night (6-8 hours), reassemble and the alarm should now work.
Oh and for future ref if removing the battery or it gets very low, take the alarm fuse out before charging or replacing, then add the fuse after it'll stop it happening again.
Cheers Mark

Mark I still have not done this, to get to the inline fuse I need to remove rear fairings as been fitted in silly place. I have managed to work out if you allow the alarm to go off you can then disarm and use bike. Not ideal but temporary measure until I can get garage to come pick bike up and de spike alarm.... summat I not going to try although its simple ;/ I couldn't remove seat without loosin the bolts lol

it's not hard, but if you don't fancy it have you not got someone local who could come and do it? I'd imagine a garage collecting it would charge a fair bit, you're a bit far for me to nip up there, but it's probably less than half an hours work even removing the rear panel.

Update ..... Zuky no longer has an alarm ! It pee'd me off and the, mechanic so after 10 mins it was ripped out and bypassed. ;)
I did the same thing I fitted a lead that ran from my battery to the underneath of my seat cowl for the smart charger but I must have lost the connection on the battery at some point and "spiked" the system.
So I followed the procedure for de- spiking taking the fairing off etc but it still wouldn't work, I rang the company that fitted it and they said that they rarely work after being de-spiked.
So with it being a nice day And wanting to get out I stripPped the wiring down and stripped the alarm out its quite easy most of the wires are just spliced in but four wires from the data tool have been linked to 2 cut wires from the bike first thing to do though is rip the speaker out! Mine was an s3 too if that helps.

Possible the fobs need reprogramming to the remotes?

Best thing I did. No messing about turning thing off or playing with service mode when moving it about. No bleeping when its windy ...... alarms are useless, if a thief wants ya bike he will take it alarmed or not .... seen plenty of cctv of the bar stools doing it.
Peace and quiet in the woozle garage ;-)
