I was in that same ambulance an hour earlier! Any crash you can walk/hobble away from though is a good one in my book :)

Thanks for the sympathy guys

Rob you plank, do it on the track its safer! hope you're ok dude

Just seen the pics Laurie, glad you could remount and carry on! Gooseneck was where I nearly binned it last year, definitely my biggest 'Oh ****!' moment up until this weekend!

Track was damp from overnight rain, and there was a nice stream running across Gerrards for the 1st session. By the 3rd session the track had all but dried except for that patch so I picked up the pace. Start of the 4th session I went into Gerrards a little hot getting past someone on the brakes. Drifted wide and straight through the last bit of wet track, lost the backend and the momentum threw me off the inside of the bike. Cue me barrel rolling across the track and the bike sliding on its side into the grass. This was at about 110 :smt100

Bikes actually came out better than me annoyingly! Exhaust is bent but should be able to do something with it, needs a right foot assembly and then she'll be good to go at Cadwell in 2 weeks \\:D/

I've twisted my right ankle and busted up my left hand a bit. Don't think anythings broken, just badly swollen. So i've been pretty lucky 2bh :)

And it'd be safer in your hands? Interesting theory :-k ;)

Chris has just pointed out to me the pictures are up on the track photographers site. No kneedown pics pre binning, no crash pics. Not a happy bunny!

fora min i thought you were the poor guy in the last session who got carted off.
Glad it only dented the pride really.
What you needed was a 6r and you would have got round without binning it all day like me

Seemed like alot of off's to me on sat though....red flag almost every session.

I was going to post up and come find you at lunch, see how you were getting on. Did you see my bike parked at the end of the pit garages? Sat there like a warning to others to not ride like a :toss: lol

For how damp the track was in the morning, they were pretty well behaved to be honest. I've been at days where every session of every group is red flagged

I to ment to post up or pm you but phone ran out of battery in the morning.
Was at the far end ( from pit lane ) parked next to the racing micra and overly worried gf.

Oh i think everyone saw it...then i got to watch someone going flying off at gerards into the distance about 5 seconds later.
TBH most of the novice group where either going slow or were ment to be in advanced so not to many issues just alot of low sides at edwinas chicane.
im totally hooked now though...once the birthday cards get emptied of every penny im feeling donny on the 8/9th

Yes.

2020? Should be less damp by then. Just remember to avoid shiny Tarmac near Hartside!

Much better thanks. After some honest opinion giving on my part to the docs, I've been for tests and so on at the specialists.

I'm due an operation for carpal tunnel syndrome and some treatment for acute tennis elbow. I've got medial nerve damage in my left arm which can't be fixed.

Once the weather pick up, I'll be out and about, so I'll give you a shout. Richie needs a good hooning, so shenanigans are afoot!
