Yep!

And I've never seen a repeat on TV, or slept with the same woman twice

Eh? When you get old you prefer soup to jazz??

Having a complete nightmare of a shift roster I've been snoozing then got up and showered for work, thinking it was 4:30 am when it was pm

I saw a Magpie sitting on a fence, for the life of me I couldn't think what it was called. Took me a few hours and then the lights came on and I remembered! Very strange feeling.

You know all magpies by their name or just this one?

Blonde moments......

Wait til the senior blonde moments start, they're much worse!

Loved it. I occasionally find myself wondering why I went into particular rooms.

eg: wtf did I come in here for?

Can't only be me that does that.

nope i do that then i realise i was meant to be in another room getting something.

i open the fridge and stand there then it hits me.. why am i looking in the fridge. but to be fair i end up sticking most things in the fridge so its always a good place to start.

I have to write myself notes.

And remembering to do something home related while at work or work related while at home is nearly impossible.
My brain resets during the 30 min ride home from work.
By the time I get home I can barely recall the days events unless something odd happened.

I couldn't find the cheese one morning when I was making my lunch for work. Three days later I went to put some washing in the machine and found it... I was only 22 years old ffs!

This.

I frequently found myself winding down late on a Sunday evening and suddenly remembering that job I really had to do that weekend... Trouble is I got to the stage of using a spreadsheet to list things and then forgetting to retrieve them from the printer - much to everyone else's amusement at work!

Everything I absolutely must do is written down in a big to-do book I keep on my desk so I can't forget it. Some days I forget I have a book...

I will always remember the oap from next door phoning the police because someone had stolen his car from a car park in Blackpool.Three weeks later a letter arrived asking him when he was going to remove his car ..The donut had been looking in the wrong car park all along. For 3 weeks the roads were a safer place to be

A fair few years ago when I used to run a chippy (I would've been about 19 at the time) I'd made a cup of tea went off to drink it and when I came back I noticed the milk was out when I was sure I had put it back in the fridge. Was only me in the shop at the time so couldn't have been taken out by anyone else. Figured I'd just forgotten to put it away, went to put it back in the fridge and found that I'd put the kettle in the fridge instead of the milk!
I've had many more senior moments since.

I went to fill up with petrol once. Came out and the car key wasn't in my pocket. It wasn't in the ignition. It wasn't in the koisk, on the pump, on the floor anywhere.
I walked home and got the spare, drove home.
Many days later I found the missing key, on top of the pancake air filter under the bonnet.
How could I have completely forgotten I had checked the oil after just filling with fuel?

I've just had to by a very fast Stannah Stairlift so I can get upstairs before I forget why I'm going up there.
