Ktm duke 690

Cut a long story short. I'm in Spain on holiday, and I had the lend of a 2008 duke 690 for around 4 hours. Dear god it was fun to ride! And I think I might want one.
Anyway, I have wifi now so thought I might use it to ask if anyone in the uk is living with a 690 duke? What is it like for commuting/ weekend ride outs/ everyday trips to the shop etc?

I will do complete research when I get home but a rough idea of pros and cons from full time owners would help
