2000 sv650s for sale

As it says on the tin really, I am putting this SV650s up for sale, it's been a great bike but I've now got a ducati st4s sat in the garage so the sv is surplus to requirements :(

Anyway, onto the bike, In the time that that I have had it I have fitted the following parts.



New brake pads front and rear, both have around 50% life left.
New front and rear tyres, have about 2k on them now.
Upgraded wiring to the voltage regulator - it's now wired direct to the battery through a fuse.
Rear suspension unit from a 2003 Kawasaki ZX636. I had to adjust the position of the battery holder to make it fit, a (proper bracket has been made to hold the battery) The rear now has pre-load, compression and rebound adjustment. The spring was removed, blasted and sprayed before being fitted. The front forks have been upgraded to cartridge units from a 2001 Honda firestorm 1000, using the original Suzuki lowers (both bikes use showa forks so it bolted straight together) The bike now has rebound adjustment available at the top of the forks (compression adjustment requires re-shimming of the base valve)
Hagon progressive springs
Stock titanium exhaust from a 2001 gsxr 1000, works well on the sv, and produces a nice sound. Fitted using a sv650 high level link pipe, I made a flange to mount the exhaust and had it welded together at work, it's all stainless steel so no issues about rust, the exhaust can is titanium with a anodised aluminium skin.

Recently there has been a small amount of damage to the paintwork on the tank, i got some new bike trousers and they scratched the paintwork up, I've fitted some tank pad grips to cover the marks and prevent further marks to the tank. It has nearly 38,000 miles on it but it still runs really really well, and pull strongly through all the gears. Mot expires in October this year and the tax is just about due to run out at the end of July.

tool kit (not original Suzuki)
Brand new set of Oxford soft panniers.



There is some paperwork from new, I have The original service book from Carnell In Peterborough, last service stamp was at 8039 miles, i also have various receipts for parts and service items, The bike also has been tagged with alpha dot, the paperwork includes proof of fitment. The bike is in deeping, near Peterborough and I'm around most nights of the week.



Its a really nice bike, goes like a train and sounds nice with the exhaust on there. It will be a real shame to see it go, if i had the room I'd keep the bike.

Its a reasonable price mate you'll be able to sell it easy.

Sadly not to me as ive just bought my second and have no room left for anymore bikes!
