speedo warning

So 2 days ago i fire up my 2004 SV650 and my speedo shows: CHEC right next to where the time is displayed, oil is fine, brake fluids are topped up and so is the coolant, the lights all work fine too. search dealer mode
but before that make sure
sidestand switch works as does clutch saftey and kill switch

+1 on what Dave said, sounds like killswitch is on
