I took a run round some of the dealers in Glasgow on Saturday for a nosey - I have not been in any showroom for over a year.
The word that springs to mind is Brutal. Everyone was empty (of potential buyers). Even the honda stock was not inspiring.
In the Suzuki dealer, I saw a small tank bag. the fitting was fixed to the petrol cap. I did not see the make - any ideas anyone.
They had it at £55 which most sane people would find a bit high.
I tried a search but all finds were big magnetic bags.

thanks in advance

I think Hein Gericke do a nice little one, big enough for a phone, keys and maybe a bit of lunch. I'll have a looky...

think you might be referring to the Givi tanklock bags

Sorry, I may have been mistaken. I can't see you getting a bag that fixes to the petrol cap for a lot less than that £55 one because of the hardware to fit it.

Those things are tiny - fine if you want a glorified (small) handbag on your tank, especially if your pockets are too small for your phone, but not much else. When you get to your destination you will also be seen carrying a glorified (small) handbag around with you...

Bagster also do a couple of very small clip-on bags. You can get the universal harness if you don't want a full tank cover. Not surprisingly the advertising pictures and blurb aim them towards ladies who feel lost without their handbag* when out on the bike.

*I have nothing against ladies who like to carry a handbag, before anyone thinks otherwise. My wife will not go anywhere without hers, which I find odd, and annoying, mainly because she can never remember where she left it last time she came into the house...

The original hex screws fixing the petrol cap are replaced with slightly longer ones that extend a little proud of the cap. A plastic ring clips on to these screws and the bag clips to the ring.
If £55 is the going rate then so be it. I am off to Toronto on Friday for 2 weeks so I will have a visit to a bike shop when I am over to see if they have equivalent.

Get into the habit of putting in a draw in a unit near the front door with your keys.
That way its also hard for crim s to hook your keys to pinch your car/bike.
Always do that when i get in .so even when you been out on the raz you can find the phone money and keys next afternoon.

I have suggested something similar several times...
