My washing machine has gone pop and looking for a cheap replacement.

Any ideas?

Don't go cheap, get a Bosch with cold fill, one of the most reliable brands

Picked our last one up via the Comet clearance site, scratched down one side but invisible in my kitchen set up.

In 10years of hard work ( 2 adults, 2 children), its only had the motor brushes changed.

When it goes pop, I'll buy another or an AEG

As the old boy says but Beko have a growing reputation. We had to get a new one a few months ago and almost went for the Beko but got a great deal on a Hotpoint, then the dish washer went and almost went for the Beko again but got a great deal on a Bosch (our site manager has an account with the local store and got trade prices for us :)).

I have a Beko fridge and washing machine and seem good. If you can buy better (bosch etc) but Beko seem to be simple and effective if cheap is what you need. Can't comment on reliability as only had fridge for about a year and washibg machine a few months but reviews seem positive.

we've got miele here but there dam expensive, but come with 10 year guarantee.

the best thing to do is read reviews online on particular makes and models etc

Heard about Miele but they are vastly expensive and no way am I paying that much!!!!

Indesit have got a cheapo and looks ok. They have a good and awful reputation at the same time which is helpful. If it lasts 5 years then so be it. I didn't pay much to begin with.
