Cracking omission by me there :smt030 I blame the booze. No, kevlar jeans wi D30 pads. Don't own leather trousers, have some textile ones, but with the way they make me perspire i'd imagine they're worse than leather

I think in this weather, it's worth risking the knee caps, hip bones and skin by using a set of kevlar jeans. Legs are the worst for getting sticky. I'm wearing mine next time I go for a spin!

Talcum my legs up then when the hot weather is done I hang them up and put a hose to them, never had any shrinkage problems

This stuff is brilliant. I'm sure you can buy it over here online. I got a tub given to me by a fellow biker in Thailand and it works a treat.

A good base layer will wick sweat away from moist areas... I wear mine year round and found they were almost wringing wet after a day out on Sunday. Inside of my leathers was pretty dry so they do their job well.

I've been using Under Armour suits (separate top and bottoms) for the last 3 years. They are brilliant. If you put it on and walk somewhere it feels cold. Knocks spots off my EDZ and Knox plus its really tight so you get no hotspot. I found with EDZ it is much looser so where its not touching (low back, below moobs/top of beer belly - loving that image?)you can get sweaty bits. Don't wear undercrackers though as that's the sweatest bit so buy more than one suit

I use a proper long-sleved wicking top under my leather jacket and a pair of longish lycra running shorts under my leather trousers. The leathers then don't stick to you and I tend to stay reasonably cool unless I need to stop for any reason. In the winter I use long running trousers under the leathers as they keep me toasty warm too.
In fact thinking about it, all my winter undergarments are running stuff; long trousers and inner gloves for running cost peanuts from somewhere like Decathlon compared to the same stuff in a biker package. I use an old cycling outer shell as an inner windproof layer in the depths of winter again cost peanuts and works just fine for about a quarter of the price of the EDZ stuff.

I bought some edz stuff a while back as it was at knocked down price, tried them once in the summer.... I didn't find it a pleasant feel :s

Wicking long sleeve top and long- johns and I use my textiles with front, sleeve, back vents and two leg vents in my trousers The inners soak up any prespiration and the vents keep you cool while on the move-----------stopped is the problem along with the heat that comes up from the fairing when in traffic.

I find if I just ride in a bra and thong I stay nice and cool. Be safe though. Apply at least factor 30.

Hmmm, a load of rubbish in idle banter and occasionally popping into the grown up bits of the forum to abuse people without even making meaningful contribution.
Where's a mod when you need one.
