Is there a source of decent quality brackets to fit the 4 pot GSX-R calipers to the SV? I know there were a lot of arguments about the fit of items supplied by a certain company a while back...

I've had an immaculate set of 4 pot calipers for ages, but no brackets to fit them. After getting back onto my SV for the first time in 18 months of riding the Mille (my brother has been using the SV) I was surprised at just how wooden the SV brakes are, and how hard you have to squeeze (we checked the caliper pistons and sliders which are both free). My brother nearly stood the RSV on it's nose when he went to use the brakes!

I didn't think you used the brakes very much anyway :)

Go and talk to your local engineering works and have some custom made. We have a guy here in Weston who does this sort of thing for the local bikers and is reasonably priced.

TWF racing.
He made some a while ago, don't think he has any new ones left.

If you get custom made get them of 10mm plate or so.
