Hey I have a K3 with a low seat on it and would like to swap it for a normal seat.

Before you go ahead with this, make sure a k3 seat will fit your bike (and vice versa).

There was something different about these if I'm not mistaken.

The k3 will not fit newer sv's as the design changed from k4 onwards.

Just had a look on Bikebandit at K3, K4 and K7 and it's the same part number listed.

According to the RonAyers fiche, the K3 (http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/2/Make/Suzuki/YearID/44/Year/2003/ModelID/8083/Model/SV650/GroupID/384910/Group/SEAT_%28MODEL_K3%29_) and K4 on (http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/2/Make/Suzuki/YearID/44/Year/2003/ModelID/8083/Model/SV650/GroupID/384911/Group/SEAT_%28MODEL_K4_K5_K6_K7%29_) seats are different.

I have to agree with Ron as I bought a K3 gel seat ages ago and it wouldn't fit my K5.

yeah thats what I have heard I need a K3 for my K3

K3 seat will not fit later bikes.

Guys and Girls I got one off of Ebay - so if anyone knows of someone who needs K3 lowered seat let me know!!:)
