Whats the best way to go about this?

I bought a 3ltr primer kit on there and when I opened it to use it yesterday at the body shop it was just thick stodge, almost like its semi cured in the tin. I couldn't thin it, or get it to go through the gun, it's fit for the bin.

I contacted the seller and all they are saying is they will send me 1ltr of primer as a replacement. I have emailed back saying no, I bought a 3ltr kit but they're not playing ball.

If I am honest I just want my money back, how can i guarantee to get it back?

go beat them up ha can you not contact ebay or something like that and say you've been sold a bad product and they are not replacing it or refunding it?

Open a case and get eBay to do the work for you. It's what they are there for. You will more than likely have to pay for 2nd lot of postage but that would be in worst case.

+1

Everything that is stated on the advertisement is evidence (inc the very very small print) if it clearly does NOT state it was in that condition then yes, E-bay will get it sorted out immediately.
Fair play to the seller who's offered the 1ltr but like you said, you bought 3ltrs so it's hardly fair.

Good luck :)

They do take a while, but it's the best way to go. I've had re-sends and refunds a few times by going through the dispute process when a faulty item has been sent.
