Ok with the demise of the acer I need to get my sons home work off the old drive.
I have a case to mount it and use as an externsl drive.
Do i need anything spechal to get his power point and word files off old drive?

nope should just be able to click and drag the files from documents to the external drive :D

That's a relief.
I have a 12 year old with a face as long as an Olympic ticket line incase he had to re do it over .
