dizzyblonde
31-07-12, 12:41 PM
And you thought you'd make it worse? Geee, what a good mate you are. If he has a stomach bug, I'm really sure he'll appreciate your help to a hospital bed if he takes a turn for the worse.

Oh right, well that makes it ok then.:rolleyes:

Gas doesn't usually give you 'stomach ache' all day

So I guess you are talking out of your ar$e too, coz if it were gas, yer office would stink and you'd sure as hell hear it!

what you on about what am i wearing?

Owenski
31-07-12, 01:53 PM
Fair play!
If you work in an environment where folk play practicals then good on ya. Much better than a grey walled hum-drum place.
Just a little heads up though, when everyone's laughing its ok but when the storm clouds come, you do not want to be the one its focused on! Work based humour is great fun but usually back fires in the long run, especially if you're winding up someone who may not be your boss but is definitely more influential in the company that you are.
I got a formal warning at my last place for firing an elastic band into someone's thigh. He was the humourless type to submitted a formal complaint, for which I had to be formally reprimanded as was company policy.

Live young, stay young dude!

You're right about the trapped wind too, thats quite uncomfortable - but its not what you said initially, you just said wind and in which case Dizzy was right - you'd expect wind and lax to be a messy event.
FYI - If he has a digestive problem and you've done that to him (whether he knows he has the condition or not) you could end up in serious trouble.

granty92
31-07-12, 01:55 PM
oh no it was me and my boss who done it, and im his manager so definately more influential than he is :)

Ahem, I stand corrected. Misuse of laxatives is funny. However there's no excuse for abusing them.

Dave20046
31-07-12, 04:14 PM
Might have been a step too far, but nipping to the toilets and locking them from the inside and climbing out if you're athletic enough is great for a double whammy.

& that seagul video's ridiculous!

okay i just told him and he find's it funny so you guys can gfy

FFS I totesballs had to google 'gfy' , I must be the inverse of others on here - I spend most days working with old people and instead of resenting & loathing them I'm turning into one :(

femaleacid
31-07-12, 04:26 PM

But yes - I find this quite funny I'm considering it myself :P

Best not to combine that with the laxatives joke, messy.

31-07-12, 04:38 PM
ooh i missed this, tells you something about someones humour skills though when the funniest thing they can think off is to poetntially make them ill by administering a compound to them with no knowldege of how their body might react, just because a product isnt precription doesnt mean that you dont have to be aware of what it could do before you take it.

however while i wouldnt have given someone laxatives, i would have enjoyed that outcome, as long as it wasnt ulcers or a bleeding bowel

That seagull thread, although ingenious...technically incorrect, seagulls do not exist, Great Black-backed ones do however

I can see the funny side of pranking with laxatives but I sure as well wouldn't want to be the one administering it, the potential repercussions with the number of ailments and other drugs people always seem to be on these days would scare me off. Well done if your employee has come away unscathed however...
