View Full Version : Hi from the peoples republic...
of South Yorkshire...
Dave here...
I just bought a pretty original 2000 SV650 for the princely sum of £900 from its original owner, 17K miles. Hope to end up with it on the track but would be a shame not to run it a bit on the road.
Suspension mods first I think, front and rear.
Loads of info on here and UK people, looks a great pace of first glance. My other bike is a Superduke. I got an R6 for the track but hated its revvy nature so flogged it and bought the SV because its an V twin and I was impressed with my mates when we went to Spain the other year..

I'm versatile....;)
Got the little SV today rode it back from Derbyshire, quite pleasing little ride. The suspension, particularly the front needs sorting, new springs and thicker oil for starters. Its like a pogo stick at the moment.
Oh and BTW thankyou all so much for the warm welcomes....I have a warm feeling about this forum
Hello Mr Man.
Are you an actual proper real life policeman?
I'm like a barrel maker named Cooper and baker named Baker....
