anusol?

better idea.. don't take the MW. unless your used to MW miles for long distance you will get tired, board, numb etc.etc. take the scenic route m8 even if it adds 50 odd miles.
i'd be tempted to do something like this instead http://goo.gl/maps/M1sy5

i did it earlier this year, manchester to cornwall, wasnt to bad. did stop every 120 miles to fuel up and relax for 15 minutes
stop every 120 miles.. your a better man than me as i stop every 50-60 miles on long hauls. it makes it less of a task more of a pleasure.

+1 on skipping the MW
I enjoy the journey is as much as the destination.

Only thing I would add is brake fluid level check and take a peak at your coolant reservoir.

Same! MW miles destroy my posterior in about 30 mins. Breaks every service station pretty much! :)

As Dyzio's list, but I'd add in a check of all-round tyre condition. I almost went for a ride last year with our lass ont back until I checked the tyre and found a nail!

I tend to check the general condition of the bike before I go anywhere, making sure that bolts are tight, everything is working right, coolant levels are good and all lights work. Just all of the stuff you check every week anyway.
