my summer gloves needed replacement, they were the single skin leather race ones, basically worn to death, lovely and supple, but the palm on one was coming apart after 5 years, so I looked around, I'm not one to go spending vast amounts if I don't have to and my Alpinestar octane shorties are fine most of the time in this hotter weather, I was planning to grab a pair at the tailend BMF show next month, anyway I noticed there was a seller on Ebay doing the weise WSG-2 gloves for £30 (P&p £6.99) (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WEISE-WSG-MOTORCYCLE-BIKE-GLOVES-KEVLAR-ARMOURED-WATERPROOF-BEST-GLOVES-ON-EBAY-/130727096322?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Gloves&var=&hash=item1e6ff13002) reduced from £69.99, still a lot, but I've had them before and they are good, but I wasn't sure.
saw a pair of secondhand ones on Ebay, my size and the seller said they were "like new" and he was only selling on as he'd bought the wrong size, never been used on a bike apparently, well I'm a bit of a skeptic on these things, but as they were a tenner (postage £4.99) I thought I'd have a go.
Came through today, well pleased, perfect condition (I can't see they have been anything but tried on), perfect fit (yes I did go out to the bike a grip the handlebars, well you have to), and so soft and supple, nothing rubs/squeezes or pinches and the goat skin allows them to be extremely tactile on the controls.
top gloves for a bargain price; well happy with them.
