View Full Version : GM General abuse thread
It seems there's some cracking abuse and comments mixed in the many active threads. Do you think we need a dedicated abuse thread where we can harvest and reflect upon it in a single place?
That way we keep ride-out threads talking about ride-outs, GM chit-chat talking about general stuff, Plebs corner to admit that duct tape did not hold a swing-arm together but have the GM abuse thread to keep a record of Simon having gay wheels and Jo changing his forum name to HandJobDogger etc.
I'm worried I may miss some cracking abuse and comedy with it all spread out. eg, we now have >80 posts ref the ride-out yesterday much of it quality abuse!
Just a thought like.....
Some groundrules for this section:-
Don't just be abusive. It has to be funny AND abusive.
It's a 'U' Rated forum so nippers like Tom should not be exposed to rude works like ****, ****, *******, ************ or bum.
We aint Gangstas init. So no disrespecting parents (or me as I'm team Dad apparently)
No out of area abuse. If you don't ride with us, you can't abuse us!
Obviously we are all very sensible boys and girls. No implications that anyone did anything illegal. Immoral is fine but not illegal.

Ok, old man. I'm guessing your zimmer frame was stowed away in the frame of your bike, cos I didn't see it yesterday!

Perhaps a monthly award for the post that covered the screen in coffee?
I'll edit this into the first post and will add to it as required.

@Spank86, Ad, you know the only reason me and Simon slowed down on the downhill twisties last night was we had no grip due to the oil your bike dropped on the way up!

I assumed it was the residual blue haze of oil smoke from the cat and GSXR deposited on the way up obscuring your vision rather then the drips on the road.

Sir Trev suggests Replacing the Ace.
Oddly enough the shop I got my rear stand from actually let me try one on their FZ6 demonstrator so I knew how to use it. Even easier once I upgraded to bobbins.
Surprised nobody has suggested selling the bike and getting one with a centre stand...

I'm getting to old to keep belting round the country on a sports bike I need something a little more comfy!:-({|= from <This thread (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=179546)> Dated only from June this year.

What can I say, a momentary lapse of reason (yes Pink Floyd), since I've had her all I've done is hack up and down autobahns, now I'm back in the UK I've started to remember what real fun you can have, and my old girl will keep up with anybody (which unlike everybody assumes is not just because I'm an utter nutter) even with me and my rather ragged and aggressive riding style!
If you can't be with the one you love,

Just back from a wet week in Wales and disappointed to find a lack of abuse in here. Given TA's 19th rideout thread had all sorts of "I'm in .... no, I'm out now as I'm shaving a kitten" excuses, Fallout replacing most of the unsprung mass from his bike rather than cleaning a lever pivot and the Jamster going for a new paintjob rather than the full bubblewrap protection; I would have thought there was plenty of ammunition out there.
Maybe Thunderace will have to resort to some self abuse after he rides solo around the Petersfield oneway system for a couple of hours while trying to find a road that actually goes towards the seaside (South Harting is the sign to look for)
Get to it chaps!
