I've got a GoPro helmet cam originally for mountain biking and skiing and the like and now want to attached it to me or the bike. I have loads of stickie pads left so thats not a problem.

Does anyone have any experiance with helmet cams in general (or even better the GoPro) and/or has any advice on where/how is best to mount it? My initial thought was on the side of my helmet, but given its a cube i am worried that it will create a lot of wind noise. Any thoughts?

Thanks mighty Org.

Check on youtube or motovlog.com

In general, most people seem to mount on top however I have seen side mountings and even on the chin guard.
When attaching to the bike suction mounts are the most popular but with a cable tie (or similar) safety line in case it falls off.

If your happy to do it place a few mounts on the bike front fender and tank and maybe somewhere on the back get as many angles as you can and move the camera about on the ride to make the video more intresting once edited together.
GoPro Hero or Hero 2 and both great with either wide angle or normal.
