The time has come for me to part ways with my SV.
The Good
Reg Rec replaced 2 years ago
New Fork seals, springs and fluid last year
Replaced Front Calipers with new pads (also got a spare set still in packet)
Braided Lines (Front)
2 new spark plugs this week
New Battery a year ago (starts first time even after winter lay off)
Replacement Bar Ends
MOT until July 2013 (sailed through with no advisory)
Tax until 30th Sep
Scottoiler
Mototechnic Crash Bungs
Rear Metz Roadtec still got loads in it
Remus GP can (sounds amazing)
The Bad
While it still pulls just fine the carbs will need a balance as its a bit lumpy mid range
Few tank bag scratches on the tank
Forks pitted
Front Metz Roadtec will need replacing next summer
I also have a box of bits and Haynes Manual, a big jar of Vaseline (essential for those late night sessions ;)), and a few others bits and bobs including tank bag, bungies etc.
If you are large headed and 38in waist then I have a load of gear as well that I'll throw in.
I have honestly had 25k of trouble free riding with this bike. Its done 32k now and all I have had to replace are consumables like tyres and chain and sprockets, the engine is bulletproof. Don't come and expect factory showroom condition because you won't get it, this bike has been ridden daily for commuting but still looks good for its age.
This is a genuinely reluctant sale but try as I might I can't carry my golf clubs on it and we can't afford to run two cars and a bike.
Phew, glad you're still here!
£800 in my hand and you can take the whole shebang.
Bike is located in Selby, North Yorkshire
Thanks for looking!
