Sat watching the cricket from Lord's and who's stood next to some binoculars on the veranda? Only Littlepeahead, and Brian Lara stood just behind. I reckon some people thought it was Brian Lara everyone wanted to see...

Well I'm normally behind the stills camera and try to avoid getting in camera shot on TV but it happens occasionally. Usually I photograph the famous person with everyone else but for an Olympic gold medallist - who just happens to be rather handsome - I made an exception and got a pic.

100m (silver) and 200m (silver) and 100m relay (gold) . The nails go with the nickname 'The Beast' - but he was actually a real pussycat. Quiet, charming, loves his cricket, bowls amost as fast as he sprints. And he let me stroke is medals!

Did you hear of his meeting with the aforementioned Alice Cooper?

Apparently Johnathan Agnew introduced Alice, (who was with his wife), to Geoffrey. Geoffrey took Mr's C by the hand and said "howdo luv, nice to meet you".


Seems Geoffrey hadn't quite grasped who Alice was :D
