So best get some rideouts organised peeps! As I could well be missing a limb by next June!;)

Going as a driver mate, most dangerous thing to do (lucky me)!

Riding a medieval thunderace that p1sses oil into the cylinders is more dangerous than any IED.

It is if you drive like you ride.

Are they crazy?

Riding a medieval thunderace that p1sses oil into the cylinders.

And blows other bikes into the weeds!

It is if you drive like you ride.

Exactly, a calm considered approach to automotive transport is just what's required!;)

B****cks the tour has been given to someone else, apparently I'm too valuable here, that'll teach me to be good at my job, so it looks like instead of paying no tax for six months and getting post op bonus, it has been replaced with six months on call Yippee!!:(

Too valuable? do you train/are responsible for others? cause if ye cant do up a sump plug....

When your on the tube and a terrorist blows you up, whilst your burnt blind and dying, I will be setting up a mobile comms detachment to assist the relevant authorities with your rescue!

I'm part of the TRF (Technical Reaction Force) and "on call" means I have to be within 30 minutes of work at all times when I'm on duty.

I hope this makes "on call" a bit easier to understand, as to being valuable I am one of the few that are trained on all the kit we use as well as being able to drive all our vehicles, which most can't.

That sucks mate, and it's ridiculous they'd put you on call for 6 months? That's gotta be a joke right? Is that all weekends tied up for 6 months?

No it'll be month on month off hopefully but that is subject to change!

Deffo up for some "sensible" rides now the Ace doesn't try to kill me every time she sees a corner!;)

And of course you can take the p**s, any pensioner with an Epicuro can say whatever they like!:p

And come on! How many of us would pick a bike up from a service and check that the mechanic is not mentally deficient?

Do not mock the mighty Epicuro. I may bring it to the next ride-out then you'll see what's what!

AH, 'signals' should of put 2 and 2 together... And yeah Thunder, Bordtea (dan) told me once he'd kill himself if i ever signed up for the military hahaha. Agreed with fallout though, that is pretty bad... being locked in a half hour radius of Aldershot of all places D:

That's only coz you'd miss him so much! Who else are you gonna find to park their bike next to yours so you can look at them instead of riding?;)

A sound plan, we could get some chips before we set off and you could keep them warm under the seat until we get to where we're going!:)
