Anyone up for a little ride out on tuesday or thursday, weather looks to be good (cooler too) so i thought i could finally make an appearance!

Possibly, though there is a good chance the bike will be on the paddock stands having the chain and sprockets changed. The chain has more slack than a 60 year old hooker's private parts.

I do believe you get a few months of oil free motoring in on a Triumph after a repair, before the next bout of failures begin.

Lets have some details then, meet point, time etc, I have a new clutch and some oil in the engine so if I can blag a pass from the better half I may make an appearance!;)

FYI fitting a new clutch is a proper ball ache, far to delicate for my liking, but she don't half change smooth now!:smt041

I bet it's good to have a correctly screwed in sump plug too. I bet that was a difficult job!

ride the bike 1st, care what it looks like 2nd! Winter time is for repairing/fixing/painting, summer time is for riding

He's right Jammy, gaffer tape, cable ties and WD40 is what a bike should be made of by Autumn, and it should be in showroom condition by the end of February!

Even I "The Cowboy" have a new fairing coming that will get fitted for the spring so I can totally ruin this one over the winter!

I think this rentaghost thing must've been on CBBC, cos I don't remember it.

+1 for DaddyJob's wisdom too. Only reason why my bike has been off the road recently is the brakes may have killed me and the chain I'm changing now was literally rattling against the swing arm. :) Plenty of jobs saved up for winter though!

It was on Going Live on Saturday mornings, I'm pretty sure CBBC didn't exist back then!;)
