Before you get flamed, it is to each their own.

I love Ducati's, but, probably never own one as the dry clutch rattle does my nut in. That said, the tappet noise on an R6 run a close second...

But, if you want it, get it! Never live life thinking "if only!"

I followed one of these over the crest section of the Helmsley TT about a month ago.... front wheel about 18 inches up and the back wheel was about 3-4 inches off the floor.......

I don't like it! :-P Been trying to work out what it is from the photos and I think it's the headlight. When I cover it with my thumb, the bike looks loads better. At the moment the little misshapen red protrusion looks like a dog is excited to meet your leg.

To be honest before I bought the R6 I was seriously looking at getting a 749. I don't mind the looks and the engine design/electronics are light years ahead of what was in/on the 748
