I'm not going, suspect most of the regulars will be ironing their pants for Bodmin and it'll be chucking it down anyway. But hey .... someone had to start the thread for this week so here it is....

Me neither, in the bad books with her indoors, and I'm busy ironing my socks for the Bodmin trip!

Remember; a good application of brake and clutch cleaner prevents sticky pants.
Which although correct and a useful tip will mean nothing to anyone other than Dave but will be driving all sorts of weird mental images in the usual suspects.
Anyway, -1 for me for unsustainable de-railing but +2 for good tip ref brake and clutch cleaner which should offer considerable sustainable savings for our defense budget:)

I'll go if anyone else goes and it's dry. Won't be riding at the weekend so need my fix.

I'm doing stuff with The Bike Experience at Castle Combe tomorrow but I could could make it later but I am not.
So count me in with the not going club as I don't want to get stuck there with Fallout ;-)

I wouldn't let go with one hand if I were you, your frame would likely implode and make you do a superman impression straight into an oncoming bus!:p

Moist is one of my favorite words.
Flange and gusset are up there too but moist is a very comforting word.

Also I'm too busy totting up credits.

XCA -1 Credit Spank for using Damp where Moist was a suitable substitute. Considered letting you off as it was a simul-post but then we need to set the sustainability bar pretty high for key cabinet members and you've since had several minutes to edit your post.
Bit wet and i'm simply a bit too tired :/

In my defence ive been busy collating (and adjusting) credit scores, but I've added that -1 in now so I'm not going to complain.

All good words. One of my favourites would be assassin, because of the spelling and two lots of asses .... but by far my favourite word for the sound alone is BLUDGEON. It's like a double wammy of smackage, and does exactly what it says on the tin.

Hitch that moist gusset and bludgeon that clunge.
What a sentence. Shakespeare would be proud.

I'm sure that line has been mentioned on crimewatch

Gentlemen I think we have a motto for the new movement. Slight adjustment if I may suggest...
Hitch that flange gusset and bludgeon the moist clunge
Latin - Crispi qui labium gusset et bludgeon umida clunge
English - Hitch that flange gusset and bludgeon the moist clunge
Thoughts?
However XCA -1 credit fallout for having a "best word ever" which was invented I believe by a scriptwriter for Inbetweeners so much too new a word for "best ever" unsustainable to have such a poor long-term memory.

Query: think thunderace was the one with clunge and I'd heard of it long before inbetweeners.
Believe the only word they actually coined was 'bumder', which is actually genius in its silliness.

I stand corrected on both points. However this is not the first time I have confused Thunderace with Fallout in a credit issue. This is clearly unsustainable.
XCA + 1 credit adjustment for Fallout.
As for the confusion I suggest a fight to the death between Thunderace and Fallout thereby removing the source of confusion and sustainability is returned. Suggest this is scheduled for the next full cabinet meeting unless someone comes up with something better between now and then.
For the avoidance of doubt, the role of Minister of sustainability is a life-long appointment (given it's all about sustainability) and any talk of replacement or early termination will result in instant PUB moves for those involved.

I believe that a fight between the 2 ministers wouldn't go down well in the eyes of our supporters.
Both ministers have what should be a great weekend coming up-
Thunderace on an epic trip to Bodmin
Fallout on a Girls Stag do, if i remember right
So i think this should be settled by the stories, memories, photos and anything else as a result of the weekend. We then judge who had the best weekend as a result of what we read/see/hear.

No fair! Your weekend is with bikers. Mine is with IT geeks. BUT, I will try my best.
Yours is a Stag weekend on Salisbury plain, that's a recipe for fun. If you fail in making it fun, then i don't know how many points Mark will deduct

Good positive suggestion. However that still leaves us with both party members alive and well at the end of it. Suppose that's a reasonable position. So perhaps we should set a "weekend photo challenge" eg, Picture with a cow (Dutch or otherwise) Picture with a speed camera, picture with topless stranger etc etc.
XCA +2 credits Daddyjob for averting PR disaster duel.
That sounds like a good way of judging it. I will be taking my camera to capture all of the above moments. What if we get all 3 in one picture, major bonus points?

So all we need to do is find a speed camera next to a field with cows adjacent to a truck stop or similar!
I'm thinking it easier to get a trucker to do a photo topless than a fine young lady!

Not that would be a cracking entry to the Motorcycle Picture Game thread! See your bloke with a tash and raise you a cow in bondage gear with a topless trucker exceeding the speedlimit.
That's Thunderace's normal Sunday ride
