Karma is a pain in the Pomme

So after about 8 weeks of being redundant, I started my new job today.

Not bad going as its the only one I applied for, so 100% hit rate.

Pride, however, comes before a fall, and Karma dealt me a cracker.

My company laptop is still to arrive, a rather nice Del XPS 14 Ultrabook, so I have been given the "spare" machine.

It has a glowing fruit on the lid...

So, first task of the day, install Bootcamp.

Congrats on the new job. As for the new computer, you love it really! Give it a week or so and you will join the converted, singing the praises of your most holy Steve Jobs and how he spread five dollars and a book token between seven thousand Chinese workers!

Good to know you are gainfully employed again, and enjoy the new machine when it arrives (even those of us that work here don't get them!).

LOL unlucky mate, good luck with the new job.
Mac are horrible things especially in a work environment our I.T junior is forever on the web trying to sort out a whole mass of issues.

Why not install VMware as a short term solution ?
