Hi All

I`m just testing the waters on this, but I have a GSXR 750 K8 i`m looking @ selling as house moving is expensive !!

It has......

13.5 k - will go up as it`s still in use
Mot till 19th Dec
Tax for another 6 months - renewed this month
Tyres have some life left in them - K2 racetecs
Pillion seat, seat cowl, Tail tidy.
It`s had new front pads and the throttle body service done by Steve Jordans in Bookham £350 http://forum.oldskoolsuzuki.info/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/shocked.gif
It`s got a datatool alarm on it but has been disconnected - with cert
2 owners ( i`m the second ).
2 keys and ALL the gumph that comes with new bikes.
Was serviced @ 600 miles, the owner self serviced @ 6k miles ( when I got it ) and then at 11k ish by steve jordans.

Couple of bad bits.....
when it`s hot 92 degrees to 100 degrees it won`t start
2 of the throttle body screws are seized ( so i`m told ) I`m putting the above down to this, as the window of temp has narrowed since i had the throttle bodies adjusted. It used to be 85 - 100 degrees.
got a deep scratch on the rear right corner where wome **** on a triumph scratched it with his steel top box. http://forum.oldskoolsuzuki.info/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/angry.gif
Oh and it`s not got original bar ends and has been re sprayed black.

I`m thing somewhere around the 4.5k mark - what does everyone think? I think that`s fair compared to what they are on the usual sites for @ the moment but would like a general consensus. ?

Rgds

I'd suggest a real world selling price of about 4k-4.1k, it's a buyers market at the moment and you can get a lot more (without issues like yours) for only slightly more.

Bet this bloke would take 4700 for his -http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2008-SUZUKI-GSXR-750-K8-BLUE-/190723111428?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2c67fbba04#ht_1397wt_966 and there are quite a few more around that price. The paintjob + starting issues will drive down your price.

After having my k8 written off I've just brought a 59 plate k8 in mint condition. No scratches full history and a very expensive yoshi system with data tool alarm for £5100

I'd suggest if you want to sell it relatively quickly you'll have to ask for less.

Good luck
