I'm more than likely after a bike cover for my SV.

What suggestions are there for a descent cover for the bike? Ideally one I put over when the bike is still hot/warm for use and will last winter and keep the bike clean ect. Thx.

if your after a throw over cover Oxford range are quite good, depending on budget though i would highly recommend one of these (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Medium-Waterproof-Motor-Bike-Folding-Cover-Storage-Shed-Outdoor-Tent-Garage-Barn-/380441581323?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item589415d70b). I have a bigger one for my tiger at my parents house, found it great when i didnt have luggage attached and could get across the drive way to use it, over winter keeps the snow off great.

I got myself one of These (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001V1AMQO/). It's probably not as heavy duty as some of the canvas ones, but it fits beautifully & does a fantastic job.

Depends on where you're keeping it. If you're security conscious, a ride on cover is best as it would also deter theft but its just more hassled to put on. Once used to it though it only takes an extra couple of minutes and are very durable for winter use. Mine has seen snow and other crap for two seasons now and is barely starting to weather. Heat resistance is reasonable also.
