Hey guys,
I have a set of forks that have just come off my SV after I crashed it. They are not it great condition, so I don't think it's even worth selling them, so was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to get rid of them?
I assume you can't just chuck them in the skip?
Cheers.

Good afternoon all.
Leave them outside your front door. No doubt some Pikey will have 'em away for scrap pronto!:D
Cheers.

Take em down the local recycling centre or scrapyard.

Strip out any spares that are OK, coat any bits liable to rust and store them away in the garage. After about fifteen years of doing this, you should have enough spare parts to build another bike!
More importantly, should you ever need that one small part, you have it in storage. It is only worth getting rid of spare bits once you no longer own that type of bike in my view. Stuff that is totally ruined though can be got rid of through scrap metal dealers or the recycling center run by your local council.
