Just come home from a Bikesafe course run in Birmingham. It was great!! The assessed ride was really good, gave my confidence a boost, although i was a bit nervous with a big police bike in my rear view at the start.
Slow riding around the cones was rock hard!! Even dropped it when practicing on my own, felt a bit of a pratt, but it was very slo mo so only some gravel rash to accompany the rash already there.
Classroom work was good as well. a good memory jog about different hazards around town especially, and a good discussion about filtering, which i do alot of on the M6.
An all round great day, can't recommend it enough. Thinking about IAM but cost is an issue at the mo.
