Seems he's always off being trained on something this raises two lines of thought.

1. He's turning into some sort of super-solider. Trained in everything and our children will be watching films based around his amazing exploits in years to come.

2. He's completely hopeless and the army have decided that if they train him in absolutely everything they may eventually find something he's good at.

Thoughts?

Also for all you military types, I understand there are options for getting funding and time off for "civilian training" if it can be seen as progressing your army career. I do know others have managed to swing TVAM membership and IAM tests though that process. Until recently we used to run army weeks where we'd compress training in Aldershot and get a couple of dozen risk taking nutters through the test in a week but the army have pulled the plug on that this year.

See if you are able to claim time and funding for TVAM then the army will pay you to ride your bike which sounds like an excellent use of my taxes.

Hah! Cheeky, back off exercise early...... why? You'll like this.......Bikesafe course on Wednesday! Even more training for the feckless tard!

But if you must know the reason I now have every driving license (except H(tracks & armour)) is because I asked for them and when I was told no I asked again and again and so on. I'm on a course for H in the spring!:D

As for the super soldier........ I am already!:smt017

i think it's a sign, they're training him to drive and sending him on a bike safe course. Their insurance premiums have probably gone up since he's been back in the UK
