For those with nothing better to do like working and the like :-

Meet somewhere at sometime organised by yourselves and ride around but get to Aldershot Tesco for 18:00.

For the rest of us:-
Meet Tesco Aldershot 18:00 in the carpark by the petrol station. (fuel up here if you've spent the previous hours emptying your tank.)
We'll leave Tesco shortly after 18:00 and head towards Pirbright.
Few laps of Pirbright
Ride Pirbright to Alton (the interesting way if not too dark)
De-brief and eat chips at Alton
Carriages home from Alton.

I have no reasonable excuse.

So I'm potentially in for bimbleage.

I may be in too. I'm out in the morning on the SV, but will be home around lunchtime, so there's a good 5 hours for me to get withdrawal symptoms.

GMCA

-1 Credit DirtyDog. You clearly missed the memo whereby the Empire works to a new calendar adjusted from the old Gregorian calendar in ways far too complicated to go into again. Today is 18 September 1974. Out clocks run 17 minutes faster than GMT/BST too for another hugely complex reason.

Dont think I'm gonna make this one after all, Chronological conundrums aside even if I manage to leave work early I won't get up to aldershot for 6.

Any thoughts on and ETA for alton?

Maybe we should defer Pirbright until you can make it. It's won't be the same without some comedy Spankage! NO idea of ETA Alton or even if we'll actually get there. We do have form for forgetting to actually get there if you remember.

Well, It's about an hour to aldershot tesco according to google (not that I've ever been there.)

So I'd need to be lucky and get out of work early and churn down the motorway to get there, Could probably shave some time off that way.

I don't want to ruin things for everyone especially not this late in the season so I'll give it a shot, I'll have to txt fallout at the last minute and let him know If I've managed or not.

I probably can't make this. I rode down to Chichester to sell the SV to Ray. I was invited to stay for tea and a cheese and onion sandwich. We chatted for a bit. Then Ray took me home in his completely hand designed/built Lotus 7 style car with a V6 Cosworth engine in it. We drove about for a bit and overtook some people recklessly. Then we chatted at my place and smoked fags. By the time he left and I managed to walk the dog, it was .... well ... now. And I've not done any work all day.

Gonna have to do somin'! At least I recorded it all on the helmet cam though. :)

I'm currently fending off a bit of a work crisis. If I'm not there by the time Tom arrives, please don't wait for me. I assume Tom knows how to get to Pirbright. If not then please give him massive slaps and deduct at least 10 credits.

What I actually told fallout was I was stuck on the m3, just signing off work now so there's no way I'll make it.

Well Spank had a genuine reason for a no show, as for our illustrious Prime Minister who "had to work" which he does from home was no reason for a no show.

@Mark_h requesting ROCA for this evening.:D

I knew I was pushing it anyway, supposed to finish at 5:40, the earliest I can knock off is 4:40 and give time in lieu but it's still a pain to get back to Eastleigh. Was sat in a queue watching bikes blast by me. :(

We will have to get you on the Pirbright bends, you'd love it and if you bin it there is a med corps camp just of the road so you'll be fine, but no seriously they are proper Spank territory!;)

Don't pay to get it done do it yourself or get one of us to do it for you! I'm fairly busy for next 2 weeks but Si or Mark should be able to steer you in the right direction.;)

I think I ought to be able to pop a couple of crash bobbins in without too much hassle.

Most of the things I pay to have done are from laziness but I'm not working next week or tomorrow so I'll have plenty of time to tinker.

Turns out whatever else I may have I do not have a socket set.

Sliders are set aside until I can go buy one.

Spank86
20-09-12, 05:32 PM
Socket set borrowed off tenant and all done and dusted in 15 mins.

That's 5 mins longer than it should have taken as I didn't check the bolt lengths before putting the first one in,

50:50 chances go wrong 90% of the time.
