My better half has asked me to sell her bike for her so she can put the money towards a summer house (dont ask) , and so wondering what you guys think
I have been searching the interweb looking for price guides but most of them seem to have dissapeared and all Im getting is the "we''ll tell you any old rubbish .com".
We bought it from Jayne Flakes about 2 years ago and I have been using it on and off ever since .Starts after the first couple of kicks everytime and still good for about 100 to the gallon .Its on about 28000 miles and I have quite happly used it for 100 miles round trips .
Lyn is only just over 5 ft tall and we found that this was the only 125 she could put both feet flat on the floor .
Oh and if you cant tell from the pic , it is a honda cg 125 on the G plate (circa 1989)

Closest match on biketrader is at a dealer for £700 or private £500.
With missing lower chainguard realistically ~£400, but its all down to finding that special person prepared to part with the cash these days.

I picked up a CG125 just to commute on a couple of months ago. Didn't want to spend more than £500 (as it's going to be kept outside in a car park) and struggled to find one that cheap. Anything that looked any good for that sort of money seemed to sell instantly, but most went for more than i wanted to spend. In the end i got lucky and picked up one which needed a bit of tidying and an MOT for £200, but i've spent £150 or so on it and a bit of time sorting it.

Have a look on ebay and stick a couple in your watch list to see what they go for. They're popular little bikes so you shouldn't have any trouble selling it, your one looks quite tidy compared to most.

Not really valid for 125s. Buyers are either learners or people annoyed with £1.40 a liter, neither of whom will care much.

Any 125 especially a honda you should easily manage to get £500 for. They never seem to drop much below that unless they're blown up 2strokes or chinese/korean crap that looks tatty.

Awwwww, Henry! I loved that bike, spent countless hours playing on him, learning how to fix him and even riding him when other people were hiding inside due to being too cold! I can personally vouch for what a lovely bike he is. While I had him, I changed the oil often, new plugs regularly too. and kept if garage stored. However, it was a looking old and tired when I sold it to Widepants, who did a sterling job making him look pretty again.

The Bike is a CG125 BRJ and frankly was lovely. If I had the cash, I would offer to buy it back. My biggest regret was selling that little monster and buying the XJ!

Do pass my regards onto Mrs Widepants too.
Hugs
