My Streetfighter build, quite a few mods but unfortunatly the build has stopped at the minute due to unemployment. Someday I will get around to finishing it.

Nice! I bet those cans (or lack thereof) are nice and subtle ;)

There not too bad I had a small internal baffle in the headers at the start of the link pipe. Here's a video of them.

Hey that's not bad at all. Is it just a case of painting and finishing touches now?

The shape of things to come. The SV Streetfighter never got finished due to unemployment. I have sold the GSXR front end and the dual exhaust and a few other bits. The good news is I am working again. The SV is sitting now with standard front end on it again and I still have the Micron full system with high level can. I have went with a change of direction on the build, its no longer going to be a streetfighter but more of a road legal minitwin. So this it what I had in mind.

Not my bike but the Aprilia fairing will be going on soon

Sorry to hear that buddy, hope the new build goes well. Personally, what you were doing before was preferred as it appeared you'de already gone some way to making the bike look unique. A minitwin is a minitwin. Can't really do much to make it look different other than paint the fairing. I hope you get a chance to resurrect the streetfighter idea or make a truly different minitwin but in any event good luck.

Cheers mate. Someday I might build it as a streetfighter again. Still have the tail and subframe from the 1098 ducati and the headlight unit just need the gsxr front end again. At the moment I'm getting the fairing pretty cheap so i'll run with it a while. I have a brace cut for the rear swingarm just need it welded on. I have the ZX6R rear shock fitted. If I get to the point where I can get the GSXR forks at the right money I will change it again.

Test fit of the Aprilia RS125 fairing. It needs moved down and back a bit and a few mods to the brackets.

The naked was looking sweet! but I'm liking the look of the rs fairing too. Would look great with the 1098 rear

Cheers guy's. The rs fairing would be too curvy for the 1098 rear.

what light was that on the original streetfighter? I'm currently doing something with an SK3 - not really a streetfighter, but needs a new front light/nose anyway and looking at options just now (bike I bought was crashed).

MICK..

The light was from a Gilera DNA scooter and cut to fit.

I never took the SV any further with the Aprilia RS125 fairing, It looks like ****. So ditch that idea its going streetfighter build again with a few changes. I'm going to run standard forks, braced swingarm, and HONDA RSW 'AOYAMA' SEAT.

Using part of the standard subframe I have the seat positioned where I want it. Needs a bit of work yet and some fibreglass to fill a few gaps.

Seat cut and moved forward to fit the tank. I still need to make a subframe and I want the fibreglass the infill panels to blend into the seat and hide the battery and few other electrics
