End of season rideout and BBQ.
0900 Oatsheaf Fleet 0930 departing for parts unknown (Dad or Job depending).
Returning to casa de Ace circa 1400.
Commencing BBQ 1500ish
Plenty of parking and sleeping facilities, any and all welcome to crash here if desired.
I'll do the food and some beverages, if you want anything specific to eat feel free to bring it along or tell me what you want before hand but most importantly BRING BEER!!!:smt084

I'm game, assuming I'm not already booked for the date (no idea!) though the "bring beer" comment may be a bit tricky if we're all on billy bikes!

I have a topbox as well so could get some in that. Fits a 2 litre bottle of scrumpy and some smaller bottles for sure :)

Me and Spank discussed this today, If the weather is really bad it might end up as a short ride followed by an epic ****up, but lets be positive the 27th will be 20 degrees and blazing sunshine!:D

I was referring to the rideout part of the rideout and BBQ I don't do riding in the rain anymore although I did go out the other day when it had just started to rain.

I'm an usher at a wedding the following morning so will confirm attendance as and when I know the deelio with those shananigans. If I have to be somewhere adorned with wedding suitage at ridiculous o'clock I'll just attend the ride out and hang around for 1 beerage.
What is it with you Spank and weddings. Next time something is arranged you two will be having your own wedding :p :lol:

They are pretty rubbish ... church weddings especially. At least this one is a guildhall then manor house **** up job and closish to home.
We're 30, all our friends do now is get married.

Then it's christenings/naming ceremonies then supporting your mate who's having a bad time then second marriages etc. It never really ends, you just go to fewer stag does and drink less.

How many miles roughly (just asking so I can budget for fuel, not that I think Mrs Ace will moan as It's my birthday on the 28th so birthday rideout cant be moaned at) or where we going?
i think route mileage is only 120 miles or there abouts, not a massive outing.
What time we planning on food/drink starting?

My route was going to start form the Holiday Inn, Basingstoke. It's more 'central' for most people and is a good start point for the route.

Never said it was confusing. It's all right for us local to it. But to get Fallout, Spank, Jammy and others to ride to it, then back past where they've ridden from is a bit daft. Hence the Holiday Inn idea, being more central for this ride out in particular. As per usual, we can meet up before hand and then head to Holiday Inn to meet the others.

Does this mean you'll be keeping your own spreadsheet like the Spankster? How will these be totted up? And will you be starting a new tracking thread?
