Some will never have known him, some will have only bantered with him on here. But for many, like Reeder and all the others we have lost he was one in a million.
So on that basis, I raise a glass to the wee one :drink: on this the 3 years since he departed. RIP wherever you may be and hope you are looking after your Mum & Dad up there.
On a lighter note, as per the thread title, for those who knew him, hope the below tickle you if you have not seen these in a while......if you never knew him, hope they tickle you none the less.

Cheers for putting this up Drew, somehow I'd completely missed TLW's tribute vid, very fitting. And I'd not seen the fartfest boogie either, LOL!
3 years, where has it gone...

He was such a tart, even now he's centre of attention.
Only seems like the other day, can't watch the tribute vid at least not at work makes me cry like a baby, such a dude. RIP musher

Yup.....always managed to be the centre of attention.......the only time I think I saw him really quiet was our wedding day and that was only cause he was forced to wear a suit!!!

Seems like it was only yesterday for us too.......I can't watch it either, just posted the link!!! Not watching it in front of all my team!!!

Or, "Fetch me my ale wench, with much haste", shouted out to my wife at AR08 in the rain.

I only knew Hovis for about four months, but, in those four months I lost count of how many times I saw him. Went on quite a few rides with him and used to meet with Steve (Metal Angel) in Caerphilly for a few drinks every now and then.
Dave was a top bloke and is one in a million, missed every day.
Thank you for posting all the pictures and video's Drew, he always knew how to make people laugh.
I shall be having a drink tonight listening to some Metallica in his honour, especially "nothing else matters"

All I wanted was a sip of my drink FFS, lol.
In all honesty, every time, without exception that I think of him, I smile.
That has to be the best legacy anyone can leave on this earth. He makes us all happy from beyond the grave and that is a very special thing.
Hovie, more than anyone else I have ever known had the secret to a happy life. No matter what was thrown at him, he still got up everyday, found something fun to do and went out and gave it his all.
He had a short life, but my god he lived it!!!

Me too, I 'Damn you'd' Wolfie for his soundtrack choice, but a bloody fitting vid though

Ha, that's because he was too busy hanging off the massive gas cylinder out the back trying to get his knee down and then sticking those little shapes all over his face with Cheryl

PMSL......I can't remember a vid from that.
I have however just remembered the joy Hovis had on his face in my local Tesco's just before the white water rafting trip when he found a pink bakini that would fit over his leathers. Was hilarious.

those Porlock weekends were a scream . I remember him being lifted up on a cross timber so he could write his name onto the ceiling above the skittle ally , just wish I could remember who tied his laces together , to lock his legs around the wood .

Matt really had an instant affection for Hovis......I think it was blatantly obvious in these photos!
The more drink, the sillier they got, mutual understanding.

Totally tickled thanks for posting Drew , brilliant videos & pics all.
It's a bloomin shame I never got to meet the bloke as he looks like he was a right larf to know and from previous threads I've spotted mentioning him, he certainly has left his mark on many peoples hearts.
I can feel the fondness you all have for him pouring form the posts & I'm so glad you lot have so many happy memories of the daffy beggar that you continue to share with members like me that never had the privilege of posting with or meeting him in person.

I'm not on here as much as I was at the moment - new job and just don't have the time.
So I missed this thread when I browsed through this evening, but a quick search when I couldn't believe it didnt' exist soon put me right.
RIP Breadboy, gone from us way too soon.
