Is the number of miles showing on my speedo this evening (well, 60008, to be precise).

Now I know none of you have any reason to be interested in this, but I didn't think I should let the milestone pass without marking it in some way. Well done My Bike.

Mines currently jsut gone over 55,500 :) still going strong! at my current mileage rate it'll be on 70 by the end of next year!

The oil went from F to L during 300 miles of Welsh rapidity. It does like to burn a bit! Some of it may be leaking from the alternator gasket but I suspect the plumes of black smoke coming out the exhaust is an indication of some engine related burnage too!

I've had my K8 SV from new and I've nearly done 9000 miles. :)

Oh they're all my own miles - and I can't believe mine's the highest mileage bike on here - any advance on 60k?

There was one on here, think it was on 100k (they guy bought it and sold it on). They are a very strong engine and will go for a very long time when looked after.
