5 Ways Of How To Treat The Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

Every month, with a week before the menstruation Thunderace suffers certain physical and psychological changes like: headaches, breast tenderness and swelling, acne appearance, bloating, irritability, mood swings and even transitory depression. All these changes are caused by certain fluctuations of the feminine hormonal level (the estrogen and progesterone).
Not all Thunderaces' respond positive to the same treatments. In order to discover an ideal treatment that suits your organism, you have to try more remedies and see which works best on you. Sometimes a few lifestyle adjustments might do wonders in treating PMS.

1. Take multivitamins. Vitamin B6 is known to ameliorate mood swings, breast tenderness and an increased appetite for sweets. If you prefer to take this vitamin from natural products you can try beans, fish and poultry meat. The maximum admitted dose for vitamin B6 is 100 mg a day otherwise the nervous system might get affected.
Calcium and magnesium are also useful for treating PMS. They work together into preventing cramps and adjusting mood disorders.
Vitamins A and D are good for the skin and they play an important part into suppressing acne eruptions during PMS.
2. Avoid eating too much salt. Salt is known to retain liquids in our organism, so you should cook with a little bit less salt with one week before your menstruation. Some women take diuretics in order to eliminate the excessive water from their bodies. This is not a very good idea, as certain diuretics eliminate minerals while eliminating water. So, stick to eliminating salt from your diet and you should not have problems with excessive water any more.
3. Try not to consume alcohol. Certain studies have shown that the depression that occurs during PMS can be exacerbated by alcohol intake. Besides this, alcohol can increase the intensity of headaches and the feeling of exhaustion that PMS brings.
4. Eat healthy foods. Vegetable fibers seem to help the organism eliminate the excess of estrogens from our bodies. You can find them in vegetables, beans and whole grain.
5. Sleep more. During those days of PMS you might feel exhausted and stressed. Go to sleep a little bit earlier than you usually do. This will charge up your batteries. For the stress you can try listening to a calm music and surrounding yourself with calming colors. Yoga is of help too

If you keep this up Mr Ace, the Spank who is currently humouring you by running your point scoring system separately, like a kids poker game in the corner of the room when the adults are playing for real, will lose patience with the relentless tittle tattle of points, and it will crumble before your eyes like a 1 tear high house of cards.
