Anymore for anymore?

Update:

Upon rummaging in various cupboards, have discovered that we don't have "a" blow up bed, we have 3, 2 singles, 1 double, a large sofa and plenty of floorspace.

@Fallout you figured out what your doing yet?

@Jammy, you coming for p*ssup or just the rideout?

Will ride back to your place after ride out, stay for a burger and beer and when everyone else gets sizzled I'll run away. :) This is assuming my bike actually runs by then.

Fallout

Not true. Once committed after the first couple, I'd be in. House parties I can deal with. Would probably wake up about 6am and disappear before anyone else woke up though!

Jammy

Im not sure Nathan. Dont worry about including me on your alcohol + food roster, i'll bring my own beverages if i do turn up :D

Must just be my house parties then.

Same oil issue. It's just seems to be taking longer to start in cold weather. Hopefully just a combo of cold weather, left standing for a week and lowish voltage in battery. Or it could be on it's last legs. If so, top end rebuild this winter! My cylinder compression gauge arrived today so will maybe take some reading tomorrow.

Get a battery optimiser on it.

Wideboy

why do you have to do this event on such a silly date

Pleb! My bikes are always on the Optimate. That's the only reason I made it at the weekend. I had to turn it over for a combined time of about 2 minutes to get the beach going. Probably wouldn't have had that juice without the optimate.

Super unleaded when cold

This^

Check your plugs too, I know you've recently changed them but if your burning oil they could be fouled with soot.

Or buy a can of easy start and spray into air intake (remove filter first), in my world we call easy start WD40, but easy start is designed to do what it says on the tin.

Plugs will come out to check cylinder compression so I'll give them a wee ganders at the same time.

I've found carbed things respond well to a bit more octane when the weather gets cold. These new fangled injection things seem a bit less bothered.

Easy start is magic stuff and smells great too.

Drinking games planned so far,

Drink while you think, a good old favourite that Job, Tomor and Jammy know well!

Viaduct, probably the most devious game known to man!

Cross the Bridge, nearly impossible!

and

Fuzzy Duck, if Carlsberg made drinking games they would probably be the noisiest drinking games in the world!

I don't eat salad but I do eat lots of veg. Just not peas, sweetcorn, peppers, aubergines, courgettes, marrows or lettuce.

I have lots of spinach, squash, mushrooms, carrots, brocolli, cauliflower, and fruit.

I don't really eat a lot of meat so you can't call me a carnivore. Occasionally some chicken, the odd steak, but no pigs because as you know they are CUTE and CLEVER.

Sorry guys. Just got back from a month and a half in Gibraltar. Nathan sent me a text yesterday about this ride. The weather looks lovely but it's feckin freezing!! I am also unstable on the bike as I haven't ridden in ages. I also have to pick the wife up from work later.
