So chaps, are you preparing the facial follicles for Movember? Any particular style in mind? Obviously I cannot participate, but if I could, this year I would pay homage to that great Aussie cricketer Mr Hughes and grow a 'Merv'.

So who is paticipating and let's see your before, mid month and after pics.

I'm doing another sponsored event so don't think I can ask people to give twice in October and November.

Shame, it was fun last year. And growing a 'stache is much less effort than running.

Can you not have a team for Movember? That way you are not asking just for you and other people will raise money as well.

I did it a couple of years ago, might do it again this year. Growing facial fungus isn't a problem for me!

Done this for the last two years running. It's a great laugh but the wife has put her foot down this year and I'm banned. I think dying it luminous pink last year may have been the straw that broke the camels back!

Dye - now there's an idea! I have started mine already but being, er, not very young the extra bits to the side of my permanent mo are a tad grey...

You'll be happy to know LPH that my shape for this year is Merv-ish. I've been nagging the worlwide team I'm in to take part en masse this year and we've gone for "70's cop" as a theme. I have a feeling it will end up more Village People than cricketing legend but we'll see.

Haha, No but i'll take that one on the chin. I was called worse during the month I had the pink fuzz lol. All worth it though as the group I was part of raised over £2000 due to getting ourselves noticed.

Go for it! The more outragous the better I say.

Not the tash wearing but the unshaven face leading up to it. Knew I had an interview coming up sometime in Nov (we've gone through a restructure with peoples leaving etc) so aired on the side of caution. Since been told it would have been fine but didn't want to risk it.

Lol. No the avatar is from Movember 2 years ago. Just never bothered to change it and haven't been on the forum so much for a while for profile updates to occur.
